Just upgraded to vista home premium. Everything works fine except of my sound. Ive tried all the drivers but nothing seem to work. My computer uses Conexant AC Link 2 Channel Audio. After installing it says 'This device cannot start. (Code 10)' and i check for solution but nothing came up. Help!

I just got this band new computer a few weeks ago. It came with Windows Vista. I watched two dvds on it a few days ago and I'm trying to watch one again and now it says I don't have the decoder. It came pre- installed. WHERE DID IT GO? Please help me. I'm not very "computer smart". I just want to watch DVDs.

I have my photos saved on a NAS device. I wanted to add tags via Windows Explorer. I select 10 photos (5.6MB) and add 2 tags. It then takes about 4 minutes to add the tags. Any idea how to speed this up? -- Bob

I've had a problem with WMP whereby it claims it is "changing media" but never starts playing. Unlike other users, I don't have any options which can be turned off in my driver setting that I can see. Running Win Vista Business, using nVidia Audio card (can get details if that is of any use). I have Vists Home Premium installed and tried to burn a DVD composition in DVD Maker. When I try to burn, there is no DVD drive to select from. I checked in Device Manager and both my DVD drives are listed and working properly. I have a blank DVD disk loaded in both drives. Would appreciate any help.

When I playback music (mp3; not sure about wma) in Windows Media Player 11, it plays back at a higher pitch. Under XP I had no problem using WMP11 to sync music files to my smartphone (Blackjack) 2 gig storage card. Under Vista I can use Explorer to read/write to the storage card. When browsing photos in a folder, each time I click on a jpg, it creates another instance of Photo Gallery. Any place in setup to just replace the one I have open with the next one? I used Windows Picture and Fax viewer under XP and it worked that way. Thanks for the reponse.

Windows Vista Ultimate Media Center: When media center is maximised to full-screen the toolbars are always on screen. When restored down the tool bars correctly only appear with mouse movement. How can I make the toolbars go away in full screen mode? It's distracting when watching recorded tv.
