When I attempt to add a tag or rating to my photos, I get the message "An unexpected error is preventing the operation" and "Error 0x88982F50". Ok here is the deal and it is very frustrating. I have full control of the drive (F in this case). Two Accounts, both full control. I am trying to delete my old Norton Anti-Virus and it tells me I need permission to delete the folder and its contents. Once again i have full control of the drive. Hello - I am enjoying using tags now greatly. I have a problem though...I have noticed that there are duplicate files showing up for the same tag, but only one can be deleted. i was installing driver for an off brand digital camera and mistakenly put folders from c drive under the ulead program, i did not realize it before i started to delete all of these files. there are 84 files in the recycle bin, i tried restore all or individually but it keeps saying access denied, can anyone help this pc dummy?

If I copy files from a CD to a folder and then copy that folder to another hard drive Windows Explorer hangs and doesn't copy the files, or just a few of them. If I reboot and then copy the folder it works fine. My hard drives are all SATA. The CD's contain photo files, aprox. 600 megs on average, up to 25 files or so. Any ideas how to fix this?

I'm trying to use file tags more effectively, by depending more on tag stacking than by folder locations. I will open a folder containing many files with multiple tags per file. I organize the files by selecting tags & then "Stack by tags" Each tag acts as a separate folder - Which is great! How can I save or force the icon views to be a certain size every time I open that "Virtual Folder"?...

I am trying to find out what the difference is in the sidebar notes and also the notes when you type notes from the run command? ALso, where are these items kept and how can I back them up or actually move them to a new location?

I unchecked a file type "stn" to remove it from indexing and when I went back into that list it was checked again. I did a test with tif and jpeg files. It rechecked the tif file extension but left the jpeg extension unchecked. Any solution to this?
