typed wrong pswd for POP mail sign up by
Jennifer
All I've been trying to do for the last 2 hours is find a way to attach a
compressed size photo to an email. I have a Yahoo email account. I have
Vista. I tried doing the Windows Photo Gallery thing and signing up for the
POP3 stuff and going through the authentication, but realized later that I
typed in the wrong password during the set up. How do I go back and change
the password?

Opening Windows Mail Account by
jamie
When I log onto Windows Mail, my emails automatically open upon logging in.
I am concerned that some unsolicited emails may contain viruses. Is is
possible to reset my account to only open an email after I have selected it
to open?

received messages delayed for hours days by
Sandy
We are having a problem with emails that have multiple attachments being
delayed for several hours and sometimes days.
Is there a setting I need to adjust?
We use Avast and have had very good luck with it. But lately some of my
husband's emails have been delayed and we are thinking it might be the
multiple attachments.
Thanks,
Sandy

How to activate (again) the prompt prior of opening an attachment? by
Philippe [Switzerland][_2_]
Hello,
At one stage I did disable this prompt for
a specific file extension, so that nowadays
those attachments will open up at once.
But now I'd like to reactivate such prompt...
So thanks very much in advance for any tips.
Regards, Philippe.

Does Vista Mail automatically backup email messages or do you have to

Wrong volume is in the drive by
Barryco
I have seen a couple of other posts on the following behaviour but no
fix so thought I would post it again.
Mail has suddenly decided to throw an error whenever I click on a link
in an email (in the preview pane or within an open message).
A popup appears entitled WinMail.exe - Wrong Volume
"The wrong volume is in the drive. Please insert volume NB5 Series
into drive D:"

2. When I open a message and then hit the delete button, it takes me
automatically to the next message, I want it to go back to the message list.

Volume in drive D: error message by
cdushack
When I try to click on an web address sent through an email an error message
pops up stating : "The wrong volume is in the drive. Please insert volume
NEW into drive D:" I have the option of hitting "Cancel", "Try Again", or
"Continue". When I hit "Continue" a few times it takes me to the site -
sometimes the page does not download, though. D: drive is for my DVDs, CDs,
etc. Any idea...

Wallpaper by
ewastudent
can anyone tell me how to save a GIF image to my backround so that it is
always moving?
--
EWAstudent
You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
