I downloaded a vista visual theme and I applied it patching my system etc. but when I turn off my computer and turn it back on or any other time when I turn my PC on the theme is applied but after a few seconds it reverts to the regular vista theme. Microsoft TechNet says that "No activation will be required for beta installs". I have installed Vista SP2 over non-activated Vista Ultimate and "Days remaining for activation" are still listed and reducing daily.
