This is a SATA drive. I am trying to find out if it will work with Vista. There is no indication on NEC's own website so has anyone installed it on a Vista computer, or had success with any other SATA DVD writer? All advice appreciated.

I accidentally uninstalled my modem on my HP Pavilion PC. I took the setup disk and reinstalled the modem, but now it doesn't show up on Device Manager.
