I have a red X on the system tray internet connection monitors. I am connected and online but the lights do not flash either. I am using a Dell E521. My Dell E520 with XP does not have this issue and is connected to same home network.

I have the same problem as many others when my computer comes out of sleep mode. If I try to play any game after sleep mode the screen has all sorts of corruption. The strange thing is if I run 3DMark 06 first, there will be no corruption! Why would that make a difference? Shouldn't that be corrupted too? I downloaded the latest drivers from RealTek and followed the prompts. It first deletes your current driver then has you restart your computer. But when I do that vista automatically reinstalls the old driver! How do I get vista to either not install the old driver or install the new driver?

I just purchased two 4-port USB 2.0 hubs. One is marked to comply with Vista and one does not. When I inserted into one of ports on my desktop pc that is running Vista Home Premium Edition, Windows asks for a driver to install. I tried both on Windows XP pc without any problem.
