My Epson printer is working for other text-based applications, but is not recognized by Photo Gallery

Has the Sound Device Roles feature been dropped from Vista? In beta builds, the Sound control panel allowed me to specify different default sound devices for Console, Movies&Music, and Communications roles. Now in RC1 (build 5600), the only option is "Set as default device" Is this feature gone forever?

I am having issues with the playback sound. I have no issues with the recording sound. If I pause the playback or leave the blue menu screen up for a little while the sound disappears. I have got PowerDVD and it works good. I can play video and music (mp3) with CD, DVD or hard disk. I've been using Media Center just fine on Vista RC1 until today. Something I installed yesterday seems to be interfering with MCE's detection of proper codecs to play recorded and live TV. i was attempting to transfer some photographs of myself from my yahoo profile onto a system i had just installed windows vista RC1 and the rightclick on photo and save picture as option is not working. it displays the option but has a ... after it and wont let me select it. allso the photo save controll icons that normaly apear over the top left corner of the image were allso not apearing....

I need to record audio files in wav format but Vista automatically saves it in wma and doesn't give me the option of using another format. Anyone know how to change the settings to allow me to save my files in wav instead? Thanks -- Jules

The playback is sluggish and bad quality (sound is perfect, though) in WMP and worse in media center.
