Sidewinder Strategic Commander problems
Hi Guys I too have problems running under Windows 7 x64, I can load the driver OK and it all works but if I reboot the PC I get a runtime error 5. From there I can reload the driver again and off I go. Is there a way to not assign buttons and have the relevant backlight not illuminated ?? I wonder how many other SWC Users are left handed, probably the sort of thing to run a poll on... Thanks heaps for creating the driver to keep these alive under the new OS`s Cheers Craig -- Craig WN |

Sidewinder Strategic Commander problems
[quote=Bandare;1029578]mrmanic;997372 Wrote: Hi again, has really noone a solution for this problem?: Does it still work? Ok, I have a solution for getting it to work in Vista Home Premium 64bit (including the lights!) - I plugged in the device and it said installed but didn't do anything - when I checked the device manager I had one device not recognised. I right clicked and selected update drivers - then selected look on internet for recommended driver. - Weirdly, it found a driver and installed it. the driver is *ATK0110 ACPI Utility* that was installed and it now shows in the System Devices. - I then installed the bodyprint software http://www.bodyphatt.com/cold-incisi...cSetupv1.3.exe - Worked and installed like a charm All the lights work too -- Steve2142 |
