Does Vista have drivers compatible for this scanner?

Is there any driver updates for this scanner, the UMAX 4000U, to make it work in Vista? Clinton

I have Vista ultimate 64 and need a way to get my Umax Astra 6450 scanner working. Anyone have a way to do this? It is connected via firewire. Does Microsoft have a canned driver for maybe a different scanner that will provide usability for this scanner?

I just upgrade from XP to Vista. But, the scanner cannot scan perfectly. Anyone can help me where to find the vista driver, since the umax official website has not the driver ? TIA. Sutisna

I recently backed up some DVD's on my system. Now I can no longer access my external hard drive or DVD recorder. It does not appear in Computer or in the device manager. Hello. I am trying to access my mouse settings in control panel as the administrator, however, it will not let me. The button i ncontrol panel does not respond at all. Still unable to utilize the TV-In features of my ATI All-In-Wonder 9600 XT Video card. Dual monitors work great (with Glass). Can't figure out how to extend single wallpaper across both screens, however. TV-In features (for Media Center) do not work at all. Any suggestions would be welcome.

A 1 Gb flash drive was present when my system was upgraded from XP Pro to Vista Ultimate. This drive works fine. Any other flash drives I insert appear under Disk Management (no file system or drive letter). Any attempt at any operation *i.e. format or change drive letter or path) results in an MMC snap-in error.

I am trying to burn files to a Memorex DVD+RW using my Lite-On DVD burner. When I insert and select the autoplay option to burn files to disc, it prompts to format it. I then get an error message that says that Windows was unable to format the disc. I have also tried using Media Player, DVD Maker, and Nero 7. None work. I have had no problems, however, burning CD-R's. Any thoughts?
