Security Center reports firewall is off. Options to turn it on are grayed out and it says Group Policy is controlling my settings. Why, I am not on a domain? I am now using PGP desktop on XP. I do not encrypt the complete disk, I use the virtual disk option (ie: folder). I do not need or want to encrypt the entire disk. I only want a folder and it's sub-folders encrypted. I also only want to open this folder when I need it, not at every startup. Can Vista encrytion do this ?. Thanks

If you want to add a bit of security to your Vista system AND have another Windows OS installed, I'd recommend installing the other Windows OS onto a Fat32 partition.
