I'v downloaded a trail version of Mudbox3D (https://mudbox3d.com/index.html)
and its purchasing it. However just discovered that in the activation page
it doesn't provide my request ID, it says request ID cannot be found. I've
ask mudbox personelle but they dont' seem knowing how to solve it. Its like
vista is blocking my MAC address so the program cannot get a request ID out

two "Administrator" accounts by

There is a user on my computer called Administrator. It is in the
administrator group, but not the users group. It is disabled. After a
restart, and only after a restart, I get a message saying something like
"password is incorrect" prior to the log on screen. At the log on screen,
there are two icons for a user called Administrator in addition to all the
users I am used to dealing with....

I have multiple users setup. Everytime I try and log off and then log on with
another user it hangs. I have to restart just to log on with another user.
Odd if you ask me. Does anyone have a fix?

whenever i do something that needs admin privaleges i get the user user
account control box (this is normal) but for some strange reason it always
asks for a password for my user account even though im the only user account
with admin privelages.]
there is another post on here about the same problem in vista buissness but
tried running gpedit.msc and the file doesnt exist in system32. please...

Installshield stops installing by

Installshield gives message 1607 "unable to install Installshield scripting
runtime" . I tried some of the fixes at
http://consumer.installshield.com/kb.asp?id=Q108340, but the problem
continues.. The instructions there are oriented to Windows XP, so I could not
do fix 1. I did do fixes 2 and 3. Other install files work on this computer
and the install program also works properly on an XP...

I am trying to login to my profile on Windows Vista Home Premium Ed. and it
gives me the prompt of "User profile service error" which pretty much means
that it cant load my profile. I am the only one that uses my computer but I
have it set up with a password to ward off my roommates from using it. Very
frustrating because I cant logon to my own computer. Please help.

print off a document she did in microsoft office. She transferred it to our
home computer, windows xp, and it shows up as a bunch of squares. Help! As

Can anyone help resolve this? I'm running Vista Ultimate on a 73GB SCSI
HardDrive w/ 50 GB still free. I downloaded MSFT's SteadyState 2.5 beta and

I tried to download software in an administrator account and it started
downloading for a little bit but then said "you do not have sufficient rights
please sign into an administrator account". I tried downloading different
software to make sure it wasn't the software and It said the same thing as I
stated before. I tried restarting my computer a few times and the problem
stayed persistant....
