Dear Academic Researcher,

Huffington Post said in the article, Science Goes Social;

Memory Management blue screen error by
Brandonlee
For the past 4 months, I've been repeatedly getting a blue screen
telling me I have a Memory Management error after playing games on my
computer for random amounts of time and rarely when I watch videos.
Unfortunately after I get the blue screen, it restarts my computer so I
haven't been able to see if I've had a major memory usage spike, but I
have used the windows memory diagnostics to test my...

An Upgrade Path from XP to Windows 7 by
Ben[_12_]
There is no direct upgrade path from XP to Windows 7 but users can use
the User State Migration Tool (USMT) to migrate user data and
settings. I wrote a piece about the upgrade, with an accompanying
video, at:
http://windows7reports.com/2010/11/09/migrate-win-xp-to-win7-using-usmt-user-state-migration-tool-pt-1/
However, what do you do if you have a site with hundreds of XP or
Vista users? Is...

Okay, So I clean installed Vista H.P. from XP (had to clean install because

purchase a SLI-ready motherboard, and due to significant hardware change i
had to install vista again. My problem now is that I have 22 days to activate

Save hardware drivers by
Chris K
Just re-installed Vista and it needed couple drivers - 1 for my Radeon 1650
SE video card and one for my M/Soft digital media 3000 keyboard
I'm bit concerned about these drivers becoming obsolete (particularly the
former) so I was wondering whether it's possible to save the drivers now for
future install - the driver details document all the driver files &
locations but not sure how to...

I don't know the full story of this computer because it was my sister's

when they moved the computer in a different location and hooked it up,
it shows

then,

How do I fix/remove the bootloader after accidently installing intosecond drive/partition? by
Ant[_3_]
Hello.
I think I screwed up my old HDD's bootup setup on an old Dell Optiplex
GX280 test PC. I was trying to install three different 32-bit Windows
onto this machine for testing purposes. It is a single boot setup and
not dual/triple boots as well.
IIRC, this is what happened... I had slipstreamed Windows XP Pro. SP2/3
(forgot which one) installed in C: drive and made a Symantec Ghost image...

OS on a logical drive by itself? by
[email protected]
I've often heard that the OS should be on a drive (logical drive) by
itself so that, when it gets a problem, you can just re-install a new
copy of the OS on that drive. However, isn't the OS modified when you
install programs? Where would you install them? Can someone explain the
procedure for this and how it works? It has always confused me and, if
if works as I understand, I'd like to try...

Upgrade from XP - network printer problem by
Ed Pyle
On my way to getting to Windows 7 I upgraded to Vista from XP in a new
partition. I still have a partition running XP. I have a HP 4000n network
printer which I can print to from the XP partition and which is used by two
other computers. I originally used the HP Install Printer Wizard to install
that printer in XP. In the Vista partition I downloaded and installed HP
