Using Vista Home Premium on Tosh Equium laptop & system restore fails - message "unspecified erreor occurred". System operating OK - nil issues with reduced speed. Any suggestions as to how overcome failed restores? -- TBK White

When I let my new PC go into sleep mode in Vista, the system is locked when I want to resume forcing me to manually turn PC off. Any suggestions? ECU Jack

Can't figure out why my computer wakes itself from sleep mode. After a while it will go back into sleep mode then wake itself again. It will continue to do this over and over without touching anything. Using Vista on a Compac Presario. Thanks, Randy

Hi, I understand compressing files to save space is not a good idea, but being an option saves from time to time your life... usually. I have some very large files from P2P applications, that were created with the compression flag, that right now can't be used at all. When trying to access them, or trying to "decompress" them, explorer.exe stops responding. No Ctrl+Alt+Del.

Have been recently plagued by system restore not working too. However I found that if I start computer in Safe Mode (F8) it will restore just fine. Is this typical of Vista HP?
