This laptop is fairly new and both when I'm using it, and when it's idle at night, it will just restart for no reason. It's happening more and more, and no error code comes up. What can I do?

In order to get rid of a corrupt file or folder I had to do a system restore and lost my e-mail from Jan. 30th until today. Is there a way to retrieve this lost mail? After the restore my accounts got messed up and that's when, I think, the messages got lost. I was able to retrieve the messages and drafts prior to Jan. 30th, but not the ones after that date. If I right click on desktop and choose Vista's Med or Large Icons, the individual icons won't customize with the logo of their proprietor. It only works if I choose classic icons which aren't the size (Med) that I want. Is there a way to force the icons to customize? Thanks.

Hi, I have 2 files in the recycle bin that I cannot remove. 1 is a Video .avi file 699MB, and the other is a Mpeg audio file 238MB.. All that happens when I press empty recycle bin , is that it starts to calculate time, then after a couple of minutes it then say windows explorer needs to close, and then closes, and then opens at the desktop. any ideas how to rectify. thanks Derek
