Which is fastern in terms of access speeda hard disk or RAM?

I have a flash drive that is enhanced for readyboost. When I plug it in to the USB port on my PCI card Vista says it does not meet the requirements. Is the drive the problem or does Vista require that the USB port be off the motherboard?

I just purchased a new XPS 420 with a USB Enhanced Multimedia Keyboard. When the computer sits for a while and powers down (sleeps), the keyboard lights go off and it does not function. I had to cold start to get the keyboard to work again. Does anyone know if this is the norm? How can I get the keyboard to work without having to "cold start" the system?

I have a dual boot machine (Win Vista 64bit and Win XP32bit). Until a few days ago, there was no problem seeing and using all drives including this external drive connected in eSATA setup. Sometimes when i start mt laptop bluetoth icon shows up at notification area and bluetooth is working just fine. But sometimesw it's not showing up there and of course bluetooth functionality i not there either. Only way to get it back is to restart computer. Any ideas?

Vista Ultmate Windwos Explorer cut and paste fails. 1) will not do it. 2) leaves empty folders behind. Cut and paste to folder of same name always fails one way or another. Says save folder so I check the do i anyway box and it seems to run but really does not. Never had this problem in XP. From D: to C: or from Pen Drive to C: etc. And it is very slow doing any kind of copy.

I am running Vista on a Dell XPS 420. I came home to find both drives failed in a RAID 1 mirror. Dell gave me no help recovering data, but did send two new drives. I have installed Vista on one of the new drives without RAID. I wanted to see if I could recover any files from the failed drives, but I can't seem to get Vista to recognize either of the old drives that were in the failed RAID...
