When I try to turn UAC on nothing happens! What to do? It only flashes slightly and then nothing. In front of the command is the shield. I also cannot acces or execute many files. Went to the program files, found WINWORD, right clicked and lo and behold, there was my elusive option. I did in fact run as admin and it worked!
