I am using Remote Desktop to login to a Windows 2003 Server. Once in I can run it again (from the server desktop) to access a laptop running XP on the internal LAN, however I cannot access another PC on the LAN running Vista. Is it possible to remotely connect from 2003 Server to Vista? At the moment I'm working around the problem with Tight VNC, but I'd rather use RDC.

Hi, We have some new Visat pc's added to our network and all of them are showing the same problem. What happens is when the users start the pc's they get a message saying the IP address is in use and they have to go and manually change the address to get working. All the pc's are configured with static ip addresses and have been checked to make sure they are on different addresses.

Hi. My partner has rigged up my PC to her PS3. I do not know what programs or whatever she used to do this. We have 2 XP computers and 2 Vista Home. Everything was fine with our old Linksys router. I am going to be setting up a home network with two Vista computer. I know that each machine should have the same user account to make this easier. Question. Does the same user account have to be logged on to both machines, or can the machine without the printer be logged on with another name as long as the same user account exists on both machines?
