We have a small network with 3 PCs and 1 printer with wired connections to a router. All of the PCs can see each other on the network. One of the PCs cannot see or print to the network printer, though the other two can. The printer is shown as installed, but PING shows 4 packets sent, 4 packets received - 'Host Unreachable'. I am using Remote Desktop to login to a Windows 2003 Server. Once in I can run it again (from the server desktop) to access a laptop running XP on the internal LAN, however I cannot access another PC on the LAN running Vista. Hi, We have some new Visat pc's added to our network and all of them are showing the same problem. What happens is when the users start the pc's they get a message saying the IP address is in use and they have to go and manually change the address to get working. All the pc's are configured with static ip addresses and have been checked to make sure they are on different addresses.
